Swim Instructors

Required Experience:
1 year – Newly certified will also be considered

Required License or Certification:
WSI Certification

Swim Instructor Job Summary: Instruct participants in proper methods and techniques of swimming including stroke development, breathing rhythms, endurance and speed.

Other duties include (but not limited to):

• Provide safety precaution information to participants
• Rescue endangered swimmers using authorized techniques and equipment
• Administer life-saving procedures if necessary
• Record and submit all private lesson information on a weekly basis

All applicants must:

• Possess current Red Cross lifeguard training certification
• Possess current WSI Certification
• Have ability to apply learned skills to actual situations
• Have ability to follow directions and interact well with staff, members and guests
