Something For Everyone
Whether you like to get your sweat on, have fun in the sun or hit the courts, the IC is the place to be! The IC is a multi-faceted, family-oriented community club that appeals to people of all ages. Enjoy one of our fitness classes, take a dip in our pools, enroll your children in our camp, daycare or youth programs – we have something for everyone!
Commitment To The Community
The IC is a non-profit organization with a long history of giving back to our local community. Community service, works of charity and the support of meaningful philanthropic endeavors are central to our mission.


Fundraisers & Donations
Our recreational and catering facilities have been used to host blood drives, food drives and fundraisers for schools, hospitals, churches and many other non-profit organizations in Fairfield County.
In addition, we donate food, services and monetary contributions to several local social service agencies such as the Connecticut Food Bank, the Shelter for the Homeless, the New Covenant House, the Salvation Army and the Red Cross. We also host fundraisers for the Stamford Hospital Foundation.

Scholarships
During the summer, we award financial aid scholarships to children who wish to attend our IC Day Camp program, but are in need of financial assistance.
We also provide annual scholarships to graduating seniors from our public high schools for proficiency in the study of the Italian language.

Sponsorship
We are proud to support Stamford youth athletic programs, including Stamford Little League, Stamford Babe Ruth, Stamford Stars, Stamford Travel Baseball, American Legion Baseball and Stamford Youth Tennis.

Senior Lunches
For over 40 years, we have hosted free senior luncheons. The lunches are open to all Stamford residents 65 years of age and over. Reservations are required.

The IC is a membership based multi-faceted community club committed to providing its members and community with outstanding recreational and social experiences. The IC strives to preserve and honor the Italian heritage, culture and traditions while welcoming all who share our values of family, recreation and community. We take pride in our rich history of supporting meaningful philanthropic endeavors to strengthen our community. We seek to provide exceptional education and enriching youth development.
Culture
A Proud Heritage
The IC takes great pride in being one of the region’s largest Italian American cultural organizations. We strive to preserve Italian heritage, culture and traditions by providing opportunities for cultural appreciation for our members and the community.
Italian cultural activities in past years have included homemade wine tasting contests, Italian movie nights, regional cooking events from local Italian social clubs and a variety of Italian book authors and entertainers.
Our team

Jon has a rich background in the nonprofit sector, having previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Domus, a youth-focused organization in Stamford. Now serving as the Executive Director of the Club, he has seamlessly transitioned into his current role where member engagement is his highest priority.
Beyond his responsibilities there, Jon is a well-respected leader within the Stamford community. His experience as an elected official complements his extensive volunteer work with local youth sports and Stamford Hospital.
His coaching prowess has earned him several accolades, including recent recognition for his efforts with the Stamford Challenger team and his role as District Administrator for all Challenger programs across Fairfield County.
A proud product of Stamford Public Schools, Jon holds a Sociology degree from the University of Arizona and an Executive Education Certificate in Leadership from Harvard’s Kennedy School. Born and raised in Stamford, he has deep roots in the community, having been a member of the IC during his youth and later introducing his family to it. Today, he resides in Stamford with his wife Melissa—who serves as a school social worker for Stamford Public Schools—and their two sons, Jack and Connor.

Tom brings a wealth of experience in the higher education sector, having worked in student engagement roles at both Fordham University and Fairfield University. In his current position as Assistant General Manager, he focuses on fostering a sense of community among members through innovative projects and strategic planning efforts.
In addition to his primary role, Tom is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and holds certifications in nutrition, stretching and flexibility, CPR, AED, and First Aid.
He earned his master’s degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Rhode Island and his Bachelor’s degree in Sport & Leisure Management from Eastern Connecticut State University.
Originally from Mystic, CT, Tom has lived in Stamford for the past seven years with his wife Melissa and their two children, Chase and Zoey, who are enrolled at the Education Station here at the IC. They are also expecting another child soon.

Adriana serves as the Controller at the IC, overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the organization’s financial health. With a strong background in accounting and financial management, Adriana leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting efforts that support the IC’s strategic goals.
Adriana holds degrees in Finance & Banking and Accounting, as well as a certificate in Human Resource Management.
Having been a part of the IC family for the past 10 years, she is passionate about driving business growth through smart financial practices and plays a key role in the continued success of the IC.
A Stamford resident, Adriana lives with her husband, Chris, and their two children. Her older daughter is a proud graduate of the IC Education Station and now participates in the afterschool program. She enjoys taking part in a variety of activities, including swimming, tennis, soccer, martial arts, arts and crafts, and more at the IC. Her son is currently enrolled in the IC Education Station, following in his sister’s footsteps.

Keven boasts more than 17 years of experience at the IC, where he plays a key role in maintaining the stunning landscaping across 12 buildings and 29 acres. He is an expert in arboriculture and landscape design, having operated his own landscaping business for 22 years.
Keven’s three children were raised at the IC, and his granddaughter currently attends the institution. His responsibilities include the ongoing care and maintenance of the grounds.

The IC has played a significant role in Marilyn’s life, having been born and raised in Stamford. Her journey with the IC began during her college years when she worked as a camp counselor.
She has now returned to the organization as the Membership Director, utilizing her skills in customer service, presentations, and sales to connect with potential members and strengthen relationships with both visitors and current members. Previously, Marilyn served as a corporate trainer for Olin Corporation.
Her training experience encompassed various companies across the country, including Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Hubbell Inc., Arch Chemicals, Inc., and Winchester Gun Co.
Following her time at Olin, Marilyn shifted to a sales position at Pamby Motors. In this role, her strong communication abilities and knack for building customer relationships were crucial for successful vehicle sales, complemented by her negotiation skills and in-depth product knowledge. Before taking on her current position at the IC, Marilyn was a respected second-grade teacher at the Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy of Connecticut in Stamford. Marilyn currently lives in Ridgefield, where she shares her life with her husband, Michael.

Christine oversees the marketing and promotional activities for the IC and Serafresca, including managing the website and social media presence. Additionally, she serves as the event manager for various IC events, such as Comedy Night, Breakfast with Santa, Fireworks, and Kid’s Movie Night, among others.
With 12 years of experience at the IC, Christine brings a wealth of knowledge to her position.
Before joining the IC, she held the position of Marketing Manager at AIG Private Client Group and worked in communications at Ernst & Young.

Hailing from the vibrant state of Maryland, Brian is a proud alumnus of Frostburg State University, where he not only earned his Bachelor of Science degree but also ignited his fervor for physical fitness, emerging as a standout athlete during his college years.
Since stepping into the health and fitness arena in 1998, Brian has amassed a wealth of experience across all dimensions of fitness training and coaching. His expertise shines in areas such as strength training for weight management, youth fitness programs, injury prevention strategies, and dynamic group exercise sessions.
Currently certified as a personal trainer by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Brian remains passionately committed to expanding his knowledge and expertise in the ever-evolving world of exercise science.

At just five years old, Ausra plunged into the world of competitive swimming in Lithuania, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey. Her passion for the sport carried her through high school and college, ultimately earning her a spot on the Lithuanian Olympic swim team.
With over three decades of coaching experience spanning both Europe and the United States, Ausra has made a significant impact on the aquatic community.
In addition to her coaching prowess, she dedicated herself to teaching Physical Education at Long Ridge School in North Stamford, where she not only educated young minds but also orchestrated after-school games for an impressive 18 years.
Under her guidance, several of her swimmers have achieved remarkable milestones, qualifying for USA National and Junior National competitions, and even earning collegiate All-American honors.
Locally, Ausra has left her mark as a coach for the Darien Piranhas Swim Club and Convent of Sacred Heart High School. Now celebrating her 29th year as head coach of the Orca’s Italian Center Swim Club, she continues to inspire young athletes. As a co-founder of the Orca’s Swim Club and currently serving as Aquatics Director for nine years, Ausra’s legacy in the swimming world is nothing short of extraordinary.

Patti Dattilo has over 35 years of experience in early childhood education teaching and administration. She studied Early Childhood Education and earned her Director’s Credential at Charter Oak State College. Patti’s mission is to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children to learn and grow.
She wants school to feel like a second home with deep connections to the educators where parents can confidently bring their children and go about their day worry-free. She is a mother of four and In her spare time, she is an avid hockey and football fan and loves the beach, cooking, crafting and journaling. She is also involved in several charity organizations that provide food and care for those less fortunate.

Brandon serves as both the Youth Director and Camp Director at the IC, where he is deeply committed to empowering young individuals to cultivate resilience, confidence, and a meaningful sense of purpose. His professional path has been enriched by a variety of experiences in education, mental health, special education, and camp management.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, along with minors in Sociology and Criminal Justice, and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology, Brandon combines extensive academic expertise with practical experience.
His background includes working within the education system to support students with special needs, as well as providing mental health services, all of which have reinforced his dedication to helping youth flourish across different environments.
As Camp Director, he is focused on creating spaces that encourage personal growth, creativity, and enduring relationships, while always placing a strong emphasis on safety and mental well-being. Brandon is passionate about delivering impactful experiences that enable young people to develop essential life skills, express themselves, and build the confidence necessary for future success. In every setting—be it educational institutions, camps, or community initiatives—Brandon is devoted to fostering youth development and striving for a brighter future for all young individuals. He welcomes inquiries from anyone interested in learning more about the programs he oversees.

With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, our Catering Director, Chris Marrero, brings a wealth of expertise to our team. Fluent in both Spanish and English, he has managed and owned multiple catering ventures. His profound understanding of outstanding customer service is complemented by a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Johnson & Wales University.

Prior to joining the IC, Federico was the Director of Racquets Sports at Morristown Field Club where he started and built a successful program for tennis, platform tennis and pickleball. Previously, Federico spent five years at the Bronxville Field Club in Mount Vernon, NY, as the Assistant Director of Racquets Sports.
In addition, he has worked at various clubs in the Westchester area implementing new ideas, programs and projects that have increased member participation and attracted new members.
As a player, Federico was a top-ranked junior tennis player in Argentina. At 13 years old, he moved to Miami where he competed in the highest level junior tournaments.
As an adult, he played in the Men’s Open and ITF professional tournaments. Currently, he is ranked #63 in the nation with his partner for platform tennis. After giving the professional experience a try, he developed a love of coaching and he now channels his passion and knowledge of the game into teaching his students.
