A Proud Supporter of our Community
The IC is a non-profit organization with a long history of giving back to our local community. Community service, works of charity and the support of meaningful philanthropic endeavors are central to our mission.
Fundraisers & Donations
Our recreational and catering facilities have been used to host blood drives, food drives and fundraisers for schools, hospitals, churches and many other non-profit organizations in Fairfield County.
In addition, we donate food, services and monetary contributions to several local social service agencies such as the Connecticut Food Bank, the Shelter for the Homeless, the New Covenant House, the Salvation Army and the Red Cross. We also host fundraisers for the Stamford Hospital Foundation.
Scholarships
During the summer we award financial aid scholarships to children who wish to attend our IC Day Camp program, but are in need of financial assistance.
We also provide annual scholarships to graduating seniors from our public high schools for proficiency in the study of the Italian language.
Sponsorship
We are proud to support Stamford youth athletic programs, including Stamford North Little League, Stamford Babe Ruth, Baseball and Softball leagues, American Legion Baseball and Stamford Youth Tennis.
Senior Lunches
For over 40 years, we have hosted free senior luncheons on the first Tuesday of each month, which represents over 2,000 people served on an annual basis. The lunches are open to all Stamford residents 65 years of age and over. Reservations are required.
