Jill Tomasello, Instructor
Jill is a retired physical therapist and a former 3-sport high school and 2-sport collegiate athlete who was inducted into the Connecticut Volleyball Hall of Fame and the Connecticut Softball Hall of Fame. She began playing pickleball in 2021 and has become a true student of the game. In addition to private lessons, Jill has attended clinics with Pickleball Pros Randy Venderrost, Justin Umbs, Catherine Parenteau, Riley Newman, Helle Sparre, Zorano Tubo, Sarah Ansboury and Teresa Tarn. In 2022, she won Silver the Nutmeg State Games Women’s Doubles, 5th in NYC Open Mixed Doubles and Gold in the Connecticut Open Women’s Doubles. In 2023, she won Gold at the 4.0 level in Women’s Doubles in the Tunnels to Towers Tournament in Tampa, Silver in Women’s Doubles in the Punta Gorda Open and Gold in Women’s Doubles and 4th in Mixed Doubles in the Naples Classic. Jill is a USA Pickleball Ambassador, an IPTPA Certified Instructor Level 2 and is working towards her “Dynamite Doubles” Coach Certification.
Angela Spanakos, Instructor
Angela has a love of participating in sports ranging from pickleball, racquetball, and softball, to cycling, soccer, and running, and has competed in many biathlons and half marathon. She has attended clinics with Pickleball Pro Catherine Parenteau, Level Up Pro Justin Umbs, and Pro Zorano Tubo. Angela has garnered medals in several CT tournaments and enjoys sharing the joy of pickleball to others through teaching and playing. She is a PPR Certified Instructor Level 1.
