Camp Activities

Drama & Music

Campers will dive into the joy of music, singing spirited camp songs and exploring melodies through fun games and activities. The excitement culminates in an annual talent show, where families cheer on their campers’ performances.

In addition to music, campers will enjoy drama activities such as improv games, charades, create scenes and role play, all designed to develop communication skills, creativity, and confidence while having a blast!

Nature Exploration

Each day is an adventure filled with hands-on learning. As our camper trek along our trails, they learn to identify different plants and trees. Scavenger hunts add an extra layer of fun as they search for hidden treasures.

Campers also explore the fascinating world of animals. They learn about local wildlife, their habitats, and even how to track animal footprints. With each activity, kids gain a deeper appreciation for the wonders of nature.

Field Trips & Special Events

Each week features exciting field trips and on-site special events! Special events include spirit weeks, camp carnival, color wars, Christmas in July, Olympic Day, Touch-a-Truck and so much more! Field trips include outings to the Maritime Aquarium, Sky Zone and Bowlero to name a few!

Swim Program

Preschool through 5th grade camp groups will have a daily instructional swim lesson each morning. Campers are tested and placed in the age/skill appropriate group so they can master and improve their swim skills!

Certified swim teachers provide the instruction and lifeguards supervise each pool. The camp counselors are also at the pools to assist with the lessons. All swim lessons are weather permitting!

Each afternoon the kindergarten through 5th grade groups will enjoy a free swim! The kindergarteners will swim in the middle outdoor pool for the free swim, while the other groups will enjoy their free swim in the day camp pool. This is a favorite time for all campers to relax and enjoy the fun of the pools!

The Middle School campers have the privilege of enjoying two “free swim” periods per day in the camp pool! The Middle School campers do not have an instructional swim class.

Arts & Crafts

Our arts & crafts program allows campers to explore their creativity, express themselves through various projects, and take home unique, handmade treasures while having fun with friends. A few projects include tie-dye shirts, friendship bracelets, bird houses, finger painting and so much more!

Sports & Team Games

The camp uses dedicated sports areas for team-building and skill-building:

T-Ball, Kickball, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Pickleball, Archery, Lacrosse, Beach Volleyball, Flag Football, Gym Games, Capture the Flag and Mini Golf.

This course follows a blended learning model, which combines online coursework with in-person sessions. You will receive an email from the American Red Cross with instructions for accessing the online course content. To get started, log in to the Red Cross Learning Center and from your home page, click on the class. Please plan to complete all of the assigned online course modules at least 2 days prior to the corresponding in-person session. The online course content (16 modules) is designed to be completed in approximately 6 hours, with each module taking between 15 and 30 minutes to complete.
