Brian Wright
Born and raised in Maryland, Brian holds a BS degree from Frostburg State University where he developed a passion for physical fitness and became a decorated college athlete. Brian has worked in the health and fitness industry since 1998 and has an extensive background in all aspects of fitness training and coaching. His specialties include strength training for weight management, youth training, injury prevention and group exercise. Brian currently holds his personal trainer's certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and continues his devotion to advancing this knowledge in the field of exercise science.
Pam Conte
Born and raised in Stamford CT, Pam is an energetic person who enjoys a wide variety of recreational activities and has a background in competitive sports and athletics. Her passion for health and wellness has led Pam to change her career path and venture into the field of fitness. Pam is continuing to expand and refine her knowledge base by working on a degree in Exercise Science. Pam is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor who specializes in postural rehabilitative training, weight management and functional resistance training. With her positive spirit and enthusiastic personality, Pam will inspire you to get moving and help you achieve your fitness goals!
George Kailas
George was born and raised in Stamford. He has been active in athletics since he was a child, where he played basketball in high school and various intramural leagues. An avid exercise fan, he earned his Personal Training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. He teaches adult and youth boxing classes, including Boxing Beatdown at the IC. He is also a youth athletic trainer and sports specific trainer at the IC as well as a personal trainer at Chelsea Piers. In addition, he is the assistant Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach at Westhill High School. George specializes in cardio boxing and conditioning, youth fitness and resistance training.
Mike Mirto
Mike is a certified Personal Trainer, Red Cross Instructor and Group Fitness Instructor. He earned his Adult Group Primary Fitness Certification and TRX Suspension certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Mike teaches TRX Boot Camp at the IC as well as TRX Small Group training, TRX personal training, team training and many of our youth athletic programs.
